Legend of Zelda Files: The Composer Brothers

"Well it is now the first of October and we are going to spend the month talking to the Legend of Zelda characters that send a chill down your spine.  We are going to go deep into the darkness of Hyrule and talk to the ghosts, monsters, and demons that remain among the living.  Today we will be talking to Sharp and Flat aka the Composer Brothers.  So get ready for a scary ride into the dark side of the Legend of Zelda where not even the brightest light can't penetrate."

Me: "Thank you Mr. Sharp and Mr. Flat for meeting with me."

Sharp: "You are welcome we are happy to talk to you."

Me: "Now can you two tell me more about yourselves?  lets start with you Flat."

Flat: "Well we were both great composers for the royal family of Hyrule.  We co-wrote the Sun's Song."

Sharp: "However when we died we had a little bit of a disagreement and we went our separate ways."

Flat: "Sharp betrayed me and sold his soul to the devil"

Sharp:  "Yea hehehe that was a kind of dark time."

Me: "Really Sharp you sold your soul to the Devil?!?  Care to explain?"

Sharp:  "Well ok it's a long story kind of funny to hehe..."

Flat: "Come on Sharp tell the story."

Sharp: "Ok well it was right after we died and I was all depressed.  This strange looking person wearing a strange mask walked approached me.  He offered me power in exchange for my services.  I was able to play magic songs that would effect the world of the living.  I found myself in a strange land in a cave.  I was told to drain the water of the cave and to get rid of any people who might try to interfere."

Me: "Flat how did you feel about this?"

Flat: "I felt betrayed my only brother left me and went on to do evil things.  He killed people and almost killed the person who ended up saving him."

Sharp:  "Yes one day a small boy came to the cave.  Like everyone else I tried to kill him using the Song of Darkness.  However he took out an Ocarina and played a song that was so strange but familiar.  I could fell my brother's sadness and rage in this song."

Flat:  "I wrote that song after you betrayed me the Song of Storms held the tears that I cried and the rage that I felt.  The rain drops were my tears the thunder and lightning is my anger and rage."

Shap: "After that boy played my brothers song I was freed.  The evil had left me and I returned to my brother a new man, a clean man, a free man."

Flat: "I was happy to have my brother back with me so we could finally be at rest.  It was a great relief to know my brother is freed from the darkness.  However him and I had some work to do.  I wanted him to make things right and help the people he hurt."

Sharp: "So we started the Composer Brothers fund for people hurt by ghosts.  So far we are fairly successful and have given money to many of my victims."

Me: "Well it is good to hear you are trying to make amends for the things you have done."
Sharp: "Thank you it does feel good to do good.  It would be easier if we weren't dead but we seem to manage."

Me: "Now you two don't miss use you ummm ghostlyness do you?"

Sharp:  "Well you know we do get bored so we have to entertain ourselves somehow."

Flat: "We might be dead but were not losers."

Me: "Yes well I don't really want to be scared so I will donate some money for your fund."

Flat: "Why thank you good sir."

Me: "Yes well your welcome.  Thank you for meeting with me and I will be seeing you later."

"Well that was an interesting talk with a pair of famous spirits.  Please tune in next time for or next scary installment of The Legend of Zelda Files."
